Bulgarian N-type solar module manufacturer VESS Modules, part of Clever Synergy Investment Fund (CSIF), has opened a 1-GW fully automated factory in Kardzhali, southern Bulgaria. The EUR 15 million (USD 16.9m) investment will create around 200 jobs and serve as an educational hub, the Ministry of Economy, Investments and Industry said Thursday.
