The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has approved a tariff of ₹6.74/kWh for 1,500 MW (6,000 MWh) of assured peak renewable power integrated with Energy Storage Systems (ESS), procured by SJVN Limited. The tender attracted 16 bidders offering 5,260 MW, with four developers selected: Reliance NU Energies (750 MW), ACME Solar (450 MW), Sembcorp Green Infra (150 MW), and Solarcraft Power (150 MW).
