JA Solar will supply 1.2GW of PV modules to Larsen & Toubro for ACWA Power’s Samarkand 1 and 2 solar projects in Uzbekistan. The utility-scale plants will jointly generate 1.2GW, power hundreds of thousands of homes, reduce over one million tonnes of CO₂ annually, and support Uzbekistan’s target of 25% renewable energy by 2030.
