Asian Development Bank and ACWA Power have signed a $116 million financing deal to develop a 300 MW wind farm in Uzbekistan’s Bukhara region. Plant includes 39 turbines up to 8 MW each, a 35/500 kV substation, and 1.5 km transmission line. Project expected to create 800 construction jobs and 25 permanent operational roles.
