The Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Limited (TNGECL) plans to replace 110 old Windmills in the state's Western Region with hybrid Wind-Solar plants. Inspections have begun in five locations, targeting 47 MW of aged windmills. The project, under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, will feature 22 MW Wind and 18 MW Solar capacity.
