India’s Wind Energy Capacity has reached 48.5 GW, with 223 MW added in February 2025, bringing total FY25 additions to 2,702 MW. This marks an increase from 2,520 MW in FY24 and 1,657 MW in FY23. The rise is driven by hybrid Wind-Solar projects and increased tenders from agencies like SECI and NTPC.
