The Maharashtra government has approved a joint venture between Mahagenco and SJVN to develop 5,000 MW of Renewable Energy. This aligns with the state’s goal of 50% renewable electricity by 2030 and 75% by 2047. In the first phase, 735 MW of projects will be launched, including floating solar and pumped storage.
