Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated local production of hybrid battery electrodes at TDS Lithium-Ion Battery Gujarat Pvt Ltd (TDSG), India’s first lithium-ion battery facility with cell-level localisation. A joint venture of Toshiba, Denso, and Suzuki, TDSG will produce over 80% of battery value within India.
