India’s wind power capacity could double to 107 GW by 2030, boosting clean energy goals and global leadership, says the India Wind Report 2025 by GWEC. Scaling installations to 15 GW annually may create 1.54 lakh jobs and strengthen domestic manufacturing. India, already a top-three wind equipment maker, aims for 100 GW wind within its 500 GW non-fossil target.
