Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation acquired a 50% stake in the 1GW Liivi Offshore Wind Farm from Enefit Green. The project, located in the Gulf of Riga, Estonia, will feature 50–100 turbines. Sumitomo’s investment supports Estonia’s shift from oil shale to Renewable Energy. This partnership enables Sumitomo’s participation in Estonia’s Offshore Wind Power tender, contributing to Sustainable Energy development.
