The Ministry of Power, Government of India, has issued draft guidelines for designating companies as Renewable Energy Implementing Agencies (REIA) to boost renewable energy projects, particularly in solar, wind, and hybrid systems. REIAs will manage bidding processes and contracts between power generators and distribution companies.
