GRIDCO Floats Tender for ESIA of 225 MW Floating Solar+ BESS Project in Odisha

GRIDCO Limited has floated a tender for ESIA of its proposed 225 MW Upper Indravati Floating Solar plus BESS project in Nabarangpur and Kalahandi, Odisha. The consultant will assess environmental and social impacts per Indian laws, IFC Standards and World Bank EHS Guidelines, covering water quality, aquatic life,  biodiversity, communities, Critical Habitat Assessment, hydrodynamic modelling and BESS safety risks like fire and thermal runaway.
