Laos and Vietnam have signed an agreement to develop a 1,200 MW Wind Power Project in Nong district, Savannakhet, Laos. Led by Chitchareune Construction Co., Ltd., the $1.9 billion project will supply clean electricity to Vietnam from late 2027. The project, covering 28,500 hectares, will be built in two phases, supporting regional energy security and sustainability goals.
