SPML Infra secured a ₹1,128 crore (USD 120 million) contract from NTPC to develop a 250 MW/1,000 MWh (1 GWh) BESS at Barauni, Bihar. The project includes design, engineering, supply, and commissioning of systems like 5 MWh containers, BMS, TMS, and 220 kV infrastructure. It will be executed in 18 months with 15 years O&M.
