South Africa's Ministry of Electricity and Energy announced the commercial close of two Battery Storage Projects, totaling 180 MW/720 MWh. The projects include Mulilo Renewable Development with EDF International and Scatec ASA's Mogobe BESS, set to begin construction and expected to operate by September 2026.
