Sembcorp Industries, via its subsidiary SGIPL, won a 50 MW Round-the-Clock Renewable Energy project from SECI under a 1.2 GW tender. To meet contract terms, it will deploy ~300 MW of Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage. Developed on a build-own-operate model, the project will begin operations within 24 months of signing a 25-year PPA.
