The PLI Auto Scheme, aimed at boosting domestic Advanced Automotive Technology production and expanding India’s EV value chain, has approved 82 applicants, including major OEMs and component manufacturers. As of 30 November 2025, the government has disbursed ₹1,350.83 crore in incentives under the scheme, which has a total outlay of ₹25,938 crore.
