The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) amended the PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana guidelines, extending the Central Financial Assistance (CFA) claim window for rooftop solar projects to December 31, 2025. Applications without installation by April 1, 2025, will be invalidated, but consumers can reapply later.
