Power producers have urged the government to extend the waiver on Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) charges for Renewable Energy Projects until 2030. The current waiver, set to expire in June 2025, helps reduce Energy Tariffs and promotes investments. Extending it would support India's Renewable Energy goals, aid power distribution companies, and keep Renewable Energy competitive.
