The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) has released draft guidelines mandating Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) at Renewable Energy sites to enhance grid reliability and forecasting. Wind and solar projects must install AWS to match real conditions—turbulence zones for wind, and tilt/orientation for solar.
