Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) approved 382 sites in Delhi for EV charging infrastructure, Delhi Power Minister Ashish Sood said. Of 456 sites identified by Revenue Department and Delhi Transport Corporation, 382 were cleared. Reassessed over three months under Delhi EV Policy notified June 30, sites were categorized for two-wheelers, three-wheelers and four-wheelers to meet upcoming mandates: 100% electric registrations for three-wheelers and N1 light commercial vehicles from January 1, 2027, and two-wheelers from April 1, 2028.
