Matrix Renewables has signed a long-term battery optimization deal with EDF for its 500 MW/1 GWh Eccles BESS in the UK. Tesla is delivering EPC for the project, set to go live in summer 2027. EDF will optimize operations via its Powershift platform to enhance grid stability and renewable integration.
