Indonesia Battery Corporation (IBC) has partnered with CATL's subsidiary, CBL International Development, to create a Battery cell manufacturing facility in Indonesia. The joint venture will invest up to USD 1.18 billion and aims for a production capacity of 15 gigawatt-hours, starting in 2027. This project strengthens Indonesia's role in the global Battery market.
