Alternate Path has secured federal EPBC Act approval for the 500 MW/2,000 MWh Murchs Corner Battery Energy Storage System in Victoria. The project will be built on a 169-hectare site near Darlington and connect to the existing 500 kV Moorabool–Mortlake transmission line through a new terminal station.
