London Thames Hydrogen has secured £200 million to build a hydrogen-from-waste plant at Tilbury Tax Site, part of a £1 billion national hydrogen corridor. Chinook’s facility will produce 12 tonnes of low-carbon hydrogen daily, cut over 50,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually, and create 150+ skilled jobs.
