Amazon Web Services (AWS) has partnered with clean energy provider Gentari Sdn Bhd to source 80 MW of wind power from a project in Tamil Nadu, India. The Karur district wind farm, expected online by mid-2027, will generate around 300,000 MWh annually. This power purchase agreement supports AWS’s goal to achieve net zero emissions by 2040.
