German green energy company Möhring Energie plans a 100MW green hydrogen and ammonia plant in Nouadhibou, Mauritania. The facility will initially produce 140,000 tonnes of green hydrogen and 400,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually from 2029, with plans to scale up to 1GW. Covering 500 sq km, the site offers optimal solar and wind conditions.
