JSW Energy commissioned its first large-scale green hydrogen plant at Vijayanagar, Karnataka, under the PLI–Tranche I scheme. Supplying 3,800 TPA hydrogen and 30,000 TPA oxygen to JSW Steel, the project supports low-carbon steel production. Part of SECI’s SIGHT program, it aligns with India’s 5 MTPA green hydrogen target.
