Adani Group has entered the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sector with a 1126 MW / 3530 MWh project at Khavda, Gujarat—India’s largest and among the world’s biggest. Commissioning is targeted for March 2026. The project will store 3530 MWh energy using over 700 BESS containers, extending 1126 MW for nearly three hours.
