India sold over one million electric vehicles in 2024–25, making it one of the fastest-growing EV markets globally, Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy said. Electric two-wheeler sales rose by 21%, and electric three-wheelers surged by 57%. Speaking at the FADA Auto Retail Conclave, he highlighted India’s shift from internal combustion engines to clean mobility.
