The Ministry of Power shared an advisory on the co-location of energy storage with solar energy to enhance the grid reliability. The state utilities incorporate minimum 2 hours ESS, equivalent to 10% of installed solar capacity. The distribution company can also take 2 hours of storage with the solar roof top plant.
