Madhya Pradesh Powergrid Corporation of India has issued tender of development of Energy storage in the solar plant. The 20 MWh (5 MWh x 4 hours) system will be co-located with an existing 85 MW solar PV plant at Nagda. The closing bid date is 16 June,2025. The BESS is designed for four hours of energy storage and will be integrated into the grid via the existing Inverter Duty Transformer of the solar plant, using bidirectional inverter & DC coupler converters.
