ECL is establishing a 600-acre, 1GW off-grid, hydrogen-powered AI factory, TerraSite1, near Houston, Texas. Costing $450 million, the first phase will be operational by 2025, featuring 50MW of data center capacity for tenants like Oracle and Lambda. The facility aims to provide sustainable AI solutions and could expand to 2GW based on demand, alleviating pressure on Texas's power grid.
