Fortescue Future Industries has submitted plans for a 644 MW Solar Park near Port Hedland, Western Australia, for environmental review. The Turner River solar hub, covering 1,417 hectares, aims to help Fortescue achieve "real zero" emissions by 2030. It will include a photovoltaic farm, a 220-kV Transmission Line, and Battery Storage.
