NTPC Ltd has raised $750 million via an External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) syndicated loan to fund capital expenditure for capacity addition and renewable energy projects. The 10-year unsecured loan includes a $500 million base issue led by Bank of Baroda and a $250 million greenshoe option led by HDFC Bank, both through their IFSC Banking Units in GIFT City.
