Sineng Electric has deployed its high-power central PCS in a 150MW/300MWh energy storage project in Huaian, China. The project utilizes battery energy storage system (BESS) containers featuring six clusters connected to a single PCS. Unlike the conventional 12-cluster configuration, this design reduces the number of parallel clusters on the DC side by half, significantly lowering the risk of circulating current.
