Egypt has signed PPAs for 5.6 GW of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage, marking a major clean energy push. Key developments include a 900 MW wind farm at Ras Shukeir and a 2 GW solar park with 2,000 MWh storage in Naga Hammadi. Additional 720 MW solar capacity is planned in El-Oweinat under a BOO model.
