Fortescue has begun constructing its 133 MW Nullagine wind farm in Western Australia to decarbonise terrestrial iron ore operations by 2030. The 17-turbine project, expected operational by mid-late 2027, supports zero scope 1 and 2 CO₂e emissions targets. Fortescue plans 2–3 GW renewable generation and storage, $900 mn–$1.
