ACME Solar Holdings has commissioned 142.67 MW / 481.49 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity in Rajasthan through its subsidiaries. The project marks Phase-1 of a planned 585 MW / 2,011.24 MWh storage portfolio. Connected to the Inter-State Transmission System, the systems will initially operate on a merchant basis, earning from peak-off-peak price differences, and later integrate with firm renewable projects under long-term PPAs to support grid stability and energy balancing.
