The Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission has approved two solar-plus-battery projects with a tariff of ₹4.47 per unit to strengthen renewable supply during peak evening demand. Proposed by Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Limited and Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, the projects will be developed in Karur and Thiruvarur.
