RWE AG (ETR:RWE) announced progress on the 1.4 GW Sofia Offshore Wind Project in UK waters, with turbine installation set to begin in the coming weeks. More than half of the turbine foundations are in place, and key infrastructure is completed. Cadeler’s Wind Peak vessel will transport Siemens Gamesa’s 14 MW turbines, including 150 recyclable blades.
