DCM Shriram has approved an investment of ₹87 crore to develop a 98.4 MW renewable energy project for its plant in Bharuch through Special Purpose Vehicles. The project will provide 48 MW additional renewable power and 30 MW round-the-clock supply at 75% capacity utilisation. With related infrastructure spending of up to ₹130 crore, the project is expected to increase the plant’s renewable capacity and be completed by June 2027.
