RERC Approves Net-Billing for Schools’ Solar Panels

The Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC) has approved allowing Educational Institutions in Rajasthan to use net-billing for Rooftop Solar Connections for any two months each year when Schools are closed. This aims to optimize power use during low-demand periods. The amendments address concerns about billing confusion and support the growth of Rooftop Solar Energy.
