Italy's Renewable Energy Boost: 4590 MW Approved
The European Commission has approved Italy's State aid scheme to bolster RE, supporting 4590 MW of new capacity. This initiative, lasting until December 31, 2028, will be funded via levies on electricity bills. It encompasses various technologies including geothermal, offshore wind, solar, tidal, wave, biogas, and biomass, fostering long-term price stability and aligning with EU strategic goals.
