CERC: NTPC Awards 1080 MW Wind-Solar Projects

NTPC issued a Request for Selection (RfS) for 1500 MW ISTS-connected Wind Solar Hybrid Power Projects in July 2023. Five bids totaling 1380 MW were received, all meeting the criteria. Bidders were shortlisted for a reverse auction, resulting in a 1104 MW award. NTPC issued awards to four successful bidders on Jan. 11, 2024. The Petitioner seeks Tariff adoption for 1080 MW of these projects.
