AEMO Reports 97% Increase in Battery Storage Revenues

The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) reports a 97% surge in Energy Arbitrage Revenues for Battery Storage Systems in the National Electricity Market (NEM) to AUD 25.4 million. This increase, driven by a 117% rise in energy trading revenues, offsets a 155% rise in Energy Costs. Battery Storage revenue now significantly exceeds revenue from frequency control ancillary services.
