Some of India's largest power producers, including Adani Power, JSW Energy, and NTPC, among others, have submitted bids to acquire the debt-ridden Sinnar Thermal Power plant near Nashik. The plant, originally developed by Indiabulls Power, faces challenges such as coal supply issues and incomplete unit commissioning, making its acquisition a complex endeavor despite its potential for expansion.
