Vietnam has selected Vingroup’s subsidiary, VinEnergo Energy JSC, to develop the 750 MW first phase of the Hon Trau offshore wind project in Gia Lai province. Phase 1, costing approximately USD 1.86 billion, will cover 32.01 hectares of seabed and generate around 2.8 billion kWh annually, feeding into the national grid.
