Rekha Gupta flagged off 300 new electric buses in Delhi, expanding the city’s fleet to around 6,100 buses. The initiative aims to transition public transport entirely to electric mobility. New interstate bus services to Ghaziabad were also launched. Additionally, the government announced EV subsidies worth ₹24 crore and plans to strengthen infrastructure, including a new Delhi Transport Corporation office, to improve urban mobility and sustainability.
