New Jersey’s Offshore Wind project is further delayed due to challenges in the supply chain. Leading Light Offshore Wind project which is being developed by Invenergy and energyRE has asked for a further delay in the planning process till May 2025. The 2.4 GW Wind Farm is located 40 miles off the Southern New Jersey coast and will be built using Vernova 18 MW turbines.
